JOHNATHON PATRICK CARTER, age 30 of Montevallo, passed away suddenly on February 19, 2024 in Montevallo, AL. He was born in Birmingham, AL on May 20, 1993; the son of the late Robert Dale Carter and Patty Michelle Kirven McMullin.

He was a truck driver.

He is survived by: Daughter, Ryleigh Grace Carter and her mother, Lindsey Rinehart of Shelby; Mother, Michelle (Mark) McMullin of Montevallo; Sister, Heather McMullin of Montevallo; Sister, Melanie Averett of Shelby; Sister, Renee Carter of Alabaster; Brother, Ralph Carter of Alabaster; Brother, Robert Carter of Alabaster; Brother, Kallen Carter of Alabaster; Brother, Brandon Davis of Montevallo; Brother, Phillip Mixon of Shelby; Brother, Mark McMullin, Jr. of Clanton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Dale Carter; and Brother, Randy Carter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00am from South Shelby Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Deavers officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Wilsonville, AL.
