Johnny Wade Brown

JOHNNY WADE BROWN, age 59 of Wetumpka, passed away on February 26, 2024 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Homewood, AL. He was born in Wetumpka, AL on August 19, 1964; the son of Charles McKenzie Brown and the late Betty Deloise Vinson Brown.

Johnny was a residential roofer by trade. He loved to play guitar and sing. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing and frequenting Lay Lake, Lake Martin, and Lake Jordan. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a die-hard fan of the late Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

He is survived by: Daughter, Ashley (Matt) Barkley of Deatsville; Daughter, Brittany (Cody) Guyon of Ft. Riley, KS; Son, Gauge (Leah) Brown of Thorsby; 7 Grandchildren; Father, Charles Brown of Wetumpka; Brother, Ricky (Tina) Brown of Wetumpka; and Sister, Jeanna (Scott) Sasser of Wetumpka.

He is preceded in death by: Mother, Betty Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 5:00pm at Paintball on 111 located at 8449 Holtville Road Wetumpka, AL 36092.
