Joseph Keith Connell

JOSEPH KEITH CONNELL, age 59 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 1, 2024 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton. He was born in Chilton County on January 11, 1964; the son of the late Tony Connell, Jr. and the late Mildred Marie Logan Connell.

Joey was a big hearted and easy-going person who loved his family. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to spend time outdoors and working with wood. He also loved taking up time with his dogs.

He is survived by: Wife, Dana Connell of Clanton; Son, Ronnie Posey of Clanton; Sister, Sharon Connell Bean of Clanton; Brother, Randy (Pam) Connell of Clanton; Brother, Danny (Kay) Connell of Clanton; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Tony Connell, Jr.; and Mother, Mildred L. Connell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Roger Bean, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at a later date in the Connell Family Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
