Juanita Lucille (Price) Lovett

JUANITA LUCILLE (PRICE) LOVETT, age 83 of Thorsby, passed away on August 7, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Jefferson County, AL on June 23, 1941; the daughter of the late Lanier Livingston Price and the late Lucille Mae Hamilton Price.

She was a former telephone operator with BellSouth. In her younger years she loved to go bowling. Later in life she loved staying at home and doing what she did best, which was loving on her family.

She is survived by: Husband, Clarence N. Lovett of Alabaster; Daughter, Renita Lovett of Thorsby; Son, Shannon Kristen Lovett of Calera;  Granddaughter, Chasity Nicole Davenport of Clanton; Grandson, Gary Wayne Franks of Calera; Great Grandchildren; Sister, Mary Laine “Smiley” Elliott of Birmingham; Sister, Charlotte Foshee of Birmingham; and Brother, Lanier “Buddy” Price of Birmingham.

She is preceded in death by: Parents, Lonnie and Lucille Price; Stepmother, Juanita Price; Sister, Mary Tidwell; Sister, Helaine Shinn; Sister, Joyce Moss; Brother, Frank Lynn Price.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
