Julius Edward Chandler

JULIUS EDWARD CHANDLER, age 72 of Clanton, passed away on March 11, 2023 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton, AL. He was born in Chilton County on June 5, 1950; the son of the late Rev. Edward L. Chandler and the late Dorothy Dennis Chandler.

He was a former machine operator at SEPCO.

He is survived by: Son, Timothy Andrew Chandler of Thorsby; Sister, Vera Nell (Ray) Driver of Clanton; Brother, E.J. (Linda) Chandler of Clanton; Aunt, Mollie (Gordon) Smelley of Clanton; and Aunt, Dorothy Ray of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Son, Richard Otto Chandler; Father, Rev. Ed Chandler; Mother, Dorothy D. Chandler; and Sister, Rose Chandler.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 6-8pm at Bell Lane Baptist Church in Clanton, AL.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00am from Bell Lane Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Chandler and Rev. Tony Christensen officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
