JUSTICE KENDALL OVERTON, age 21 of Marbury and formerly of Thomasville, AL, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Demopolis, AL on November 10, 2004.
Justice was a devoted fan of Auburn football and rarely missed an opportunity to talk about the game he loved. He knew the players from teams across both collegiate and professional football and could often recall their statistics with ease. For Justice, football was more than just a pastime—it was something he genuinely enjoyed sharing and discussing with others. In quieter moments, he also enjoyed playing the guitar, finding comfort and enjoyment in music.
Above all else, Justice had a kind and caring heart. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour and carried himself with a humble and gentle spirit. Those who knew him will remember his warm nature, his willingness to show kindness to others, and the genuine way he cared for the people around him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he shared with family and friends will remain a lasting memory to all who knew him.
He is survived by: Mother, Deanby Overton of Grove Hill; Father, William Lewis Overton, Sr. of Thomasville; Sister, Adreanne Gates of Thomasville; Sister, Destiny Overton of Thomasville; Brother, William Overton, Jr. of Grove Hill; Brother, Brandon Henderson of Dixon Mills; Sister, Adrianna Hill of Dixon Mills; Sister, Tessa McClure of Dixon Mills; Sister, Amaya Jones of Dixon Mills; Grandparents, John and Dara Whitney of Melbourne, FL; Grandparents, Eugene and Martha Morgan of Marbury; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Johnny Alford.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Forrest Hill Baptist Church in Linden, AL with Rev. Matt Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
