KATHERINE JEANNE (ISENHOWER) COLLUM, age 77 of Calera, passed away on August 14, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Jefferson County, AL on October 17, 1946; the daughter of the late Dick Isenhower and the late Jean Finch Isenhower.
She was a sales representative with Industrial Parts and Supply, becoming one of the first females to break into that profession. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who fiercely loved her family. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and was known to be able to grow anything. She also loved to watch her hummingbirds around her home. In previous years she enjoyed singing in the choir at Helena Pentecostal Church and traveling minister in song at different nursing homes.
She is survived by: Son, Travis (Linda) Collum of Centreville; Son, Bo (Bridgette) Collum of Clanton; Son, Bobby (Mindy) Collum of Calera; 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Jim (Sharon) Isenhower of Mobile; and Sister, Sharon (Tim) Mayer of Montevallo.
She is preceded in death by: Daughter, Elaine Pate; Parents, Dick and Jean Isenhower; Brother, Dickie Isenhower; Sister, Rosemary Isenhower; and Brother, Paul Isenhower.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:00pm from Rock Springs Baptist Church with Bro. David Mills officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Cemetery in Calera, AL.
