Kathy June (Hughes) Morris

KATHY JUNE (HUGHES) MORRIS, age 63 of Maplesville, passed away on March 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Shelby, AL on June 12, 1958; the daughter of the late Coy Hughes and the late Lillie Belle Epperson Hughes.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Husband, Gary Morris of Maplesville; Daughter, Tonya Morris of Maplesville; Son, Jeremy Morris of Maplesville; Granddaughters: Brooklyn Morris of Billingsley, BreeAnna Morris of Maplesville, Crystal Morris of Maplesville, Tasha Lopez of Prattville, Cindy Morris of Maplesville, Samantha Smith of Selma, and Trivonna Abbott of Maplesville; Great Grandson, K.J.; Brother, Raymond (Carolyn) Hughes of Columbiana; Sister-in-Law, Pat Hughes of Columbiana; and Sister-in-Law, Martha Hughes of Columbiana.

The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Morris residence located at 663 AL Hwy 139 in Maplesville. Rev. Michael Morris and Rev. Wade Adkins will officiate the service.

Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Old Mt. Zion Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
