Kay Tucker Allen, 75, of Clanton Alababa passed away at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital May 31, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1951 to Sarah and William Earl (Red) Tucker at Lloyd Noland Hospital in Fairfield, Alabama. She grew up on 40th Street in Fairfield. She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church where she was baptized. Summers were spent at church camp, attending Vacation Bible School, and playing outside all day until the streetlights came on signaling time to go inside.
She played clarinet in the Fairfield High School Tiger Marching Band and enjoyed pep rallies, parades, and football games. She graduated in the Class of 1969. Following graduation she went to work at Bell South. She retired as a supervisor after 33 years of service and became the caregiver of her mother.
She is survived by her sister Ann (Rick) Compton Millsboro, Delaware, nephews Greg (Cindy) Compton, Castle Hayne, North Carolina, Owen (Angela) Compton, Wilmington, Delaware, and her best friend Bonita Brooks Bowen, Maplesville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loyal dog, Louie.
No service is planned. She has been cremated and her ashes will be spread at a later date.
