Kekaysone Phouthavanh

KEKAYSONE PHOWTHAVANH, age 77 of Clanton, died on November 16, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Laos on December 25, 1945; the daughter of the late Chanthong and the late Bounthong Noy Phouthavanh.

She was a former automotive factory laborer.

She is survived by: Children: Sony P. Thamdy of Hawaii, Sengtaone Phouthavanh of Alabama, Chamsamone Phouthavanh of Michigan, and Tu Khampharasavath of Alabama; 13 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Oudon Phouthavanh of Florida; Sister, Bounhom Phouthavanh of Laos; Sister, Bounpheng Phouthavanh of Laos; and Brother, Somsack Phouthavaunh of Ohio.

A traditional Buddhist service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023. It will begin at 7:00am with traditional blessings in the home located at 100 County Road 941 in Clanton, AL. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL. Cremation will immediately follow the services.
