Kenneth Eugene Crane, Sr.

KENNETH EUGENE CRANE, SR., age 72, of Jemison, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 following a lengthy battle with heart disease. Born September 6, 1947, Mr. Crane was a longtime resident of Monroeville, graduating from Monroeville High School in 1965.

Preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Evelyn (Barnhart) Allen, first wife Norma (Barber) in 1993, second wife Diana (Bates) in 2019; brothers, Ervin Crane and Robert Martin; and Sisters Debra (Susie) Allswede and Nanny Villerreal.

Surviving are his children, Kenneth (Beth) Crane Jr. of Monroeville, Tom (Jackie) Crane of Norwalk; Step daughters, Michelle Lynn (Mike) Crowson of Calera, AL, Melissa Ann (Jesse) Spillman of Clearwater, FL; brother, Larry Allen of Monroeville; sisters, Pat Leber of Monroeville, Sandy Jesse of Charlotte, MI, Larena Sebrell of Lansing, MI, Linda Anderson of Sandusky, Nancy Smith of Monroeville, and Marilyn Missler of Fremont. As well as ten grandchildren, Jessica Crane, Zachary Crane, James Scalf, Brandon Scalf, Jonathan Scalf, Shelby Crowson, Ashley Carlson, James Perez, Autumn Smith, Alyssa Smith and 7 great grandchildren, Haley Carlson, Josie Carlson, Aubrey Scalf, Emma Scalf, Kaiden Scalf, Peyton Scalf and Charles Schank.

A private family graveside with Ronald Jesse officiating will be held at Meadow Green Cemetery on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Memorial contributions may be made to the “Love Fund” at Collins United Methodist Church, 4290 Hartland Center Rd., Collins, OH 44826.
