Kirby Belk Obituary

KIRBY GLENN BELK, age 71 of Clanton, passed away on November 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Kosciusko, MS on July 10, 1950; the son of the late Robert Fred Belk and the late Mary Alice Alford Belk.

He was a former construction foreman.

He is survived by: Wife, Lois Belk of Clanton; Son, Brian (Carla) Belk of Clanton; Son, David (Crystal) Belk of Jemison; Daughter, Dawn (James) Connell of Clanton; Daughter, Lori (Eli) Johnson of Beaumont, TX; 12 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00am in the Rocky Mt. Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Rev. James A. Peters officiating.

There will be no visitation.

The family request in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Kirby’s memory to the Chilton County Humane Society.
