Krystall DeLynne (Brasher) Scarbrough

KRYSTALL DeLYNNE (BRASHER) SCARBROUGH, of Clanton, passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 41.

Born on March 9, 1984, in Shelby County, Krystall was the cherished daughter of Larry R. Brasher and Julia Dawson Smith. She was a loving wife to Mark Scarbrough and a caring mother, whose devotion to her family was the heart of her world.

Krystall lived a life defined by love, generosity, and quiet strength. Her kitchen was a place of joy and comfort—cooking was her favorite pastime, and every meal was an expression of her deep care for others. She adored being a grandmother, and the time she spent with her grandchildren brought her the greatest happiness. Krystall was the kind of person who always put others first, constantly looking after those around her with a gentle hand and an open heart.

Her legacy is one of kindness, selflessness, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

She is survived by: Husband, Mark Scarbrough of Clanton; Daughter, Alexis Robinson of Clanton; Son, Johnaton (Amanda) Robinson of Clanton; Son, Brett Scarbrough of Clanton; Grandchildren, Caleb Patterson and Crimson Nichols both of Clanton; Father, Larry Brasher of Clanton; Mother, Julia Smith of Clanton; Brothers: Denia Killingsworth, William “Pewee” Killingsworth, Cody Smith, Charles (Kim Rodgers) Brasher, and Robert Brasher all of Clanton; Grandmother, Charlotte Killingsworth of Thorsby; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives that loved her deeply.

She is preceded in death by her Grandchild, Mason Alexander Brasher.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
