KYMBERLY DAWN YATES, age 39 of Verbena, passed away on February 21, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born on June 3, 1984; the daughter of Richard M. Yates and Bonnie Scarbrough Yates.

She loved to read and drink coffee.

She is survived by: Father, Richard Yates of Verbena; Mother, Bonnie Yates of Verbena; Son, Jordan Yates of Verbena; Sister, Diane Belknap of Clanton; Sister, Laura Yates of Clanton; Brother, Steven Dennis; Brother, Ricky (Haley) Yates of Clanton; Brother, Russell (Syndal) Yates of Clanton; Cousin, Kevin Calfee of Clanton; Mamaw, Becky Barrett of Clanton; and Mamaw, Linda Calfee of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by: Grandparents, Ben and Doralee Scarbrough; and Grandparents, Lee Irving Yates and Beatrice Irene Yates.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Way of The Cross Church of God in Verbena, AL with Rev. Terry Hicks officiating.
