Larry Joe Kirkland

LARRY JOE KIRKLAND, age 62 of Clanton, passed away on December 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Clanton, AL on June 19, 1959; the son of the late Leon Kirkland and the late Alma Faye Davenport Kirkland.

He was a former sheetrock installer. He was an avid Auburn football fan. He loved people and was a volunteer fireman with both Enterprise and Fairview Volunteer Fire Departments in Chilton County. He was a member of New Harmony Holiness Church where he loved his church family very much.

He is survived by: Wife, Cindy Kirkland of Clanton; Son, Jayden Kirkland of Clanton; Sister, Jean Edwards of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Leon and Alma Kirkland; Brother, Bobby Wayne Kirkland; Brother, Curtis Kirkland; and Sister, Patricia Mims.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00pm from the New Harmony Holiness Church with Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the New Harmony Holiness Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
