Larry Mims Obituary
LARRY EUGENE MIMS, age 62 of Clanton, passed away on October 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on June 7, 1959; the son of the late Moses E. Mims and the late Gearldean Partridge Mims.
He was a former construction foreman.
He is survived by: Sister, Virginia Littleton of Clanton; Brother, Jimmy (Regina) Mims of Clanton; Brother, Michael (Elaine) Mims of Clanton; Nephew, David (Tara) Littleton of Clanton; Niece, Rachel Mims of Clanton; Niece, Ivie Littleton of Clanton; Niece, Averie Littleton of Clanton; and Special Friends, Carla Wyatt Mims and Kaitlin Mims.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 7:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. David Littleton officiating.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
Inurnment will take place in the Temple Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
The family request no flowers. Please make memorial contributions to the Chilton County Humane Society.
