Linda Gail (Hall) Baugh, age 74, of Hoover, Alabama, and a longtime former resident of Lake City, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 31, 2026, after passing away suddenly at her residence.
Born on June 7, 1951, in Lake City, Florida, Linda was the daughter of the late Ernest Pafford “Pat” Hall and Mildred Louise Johnson Hall Commander.
Linda loved her family fiercely and treasured every moment spent with them. She also cherished the special friendship she shared with Joyce, enjoying many hours together playing Yahtzee and making memories. A devoted Christian, Linda's faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She loved gospel music, singing, and playing the guitar, and found great joy in worship and fellowship with others.
Known for her warm and outgoing personality, Linda never met a stranger. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, and she genuinely enjoyed spending time with those around her. She also had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. Whether tending her flowers or feeding the deer, squirrels, and chipmunks that frequented her back porch, Linda found happiness in God's creation.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Crysti (Chad) Perry of Hoover, Alabama; her brother, Danny (Beverly) Hall of White Springs, Florida; her best friend, Joyce Morgan of Fitzgerald, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and her beloved fur-grandbabies, Maple and Corey.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Julian Hall and Calvin Hall; and her niece, Windy Hall Tang.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Journey Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Armstrong officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
A burial will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Journey Baptist Church in Calera, Alabama.
Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, Alabama.
