Linda Gay (Smith) Causey

LINDA GAY (Smith) CAUSEY, age 77 of Clanton, passed away on July 28, 2024.  She was born on August 22, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Smith and the late Julia Carter Smith.

She was a former data entry clerk.

She is survived by: Daughter, Yvette C. Dykes (Micheal Sr.) of Clanton; Daughter, Sabrina Powell (Chris) of Clanton; Grandson, Micheal D. Dykes Jr. of Washington State; Granddaughter, Brittany King (Allen) of Verbena; Grandson, Logan Powell (Maggie)  of Clanton; Grandson, Kaiden Powell of Clanton; Great Granddaughter, Novaleigh King of Verbena; Great Grandson, Rhett King of Verbena; Great Grandson, Colson Powell of Clanton; Step Granddaughter, Brittany Hollon (Nate); Step Granddaughter, Brianna Taylor (Stephanie); Step Great Grandchildren, Madalyn and Owen Hollon; Brother, Robert B. Smith (Anita) of Dothan; Brother, David W. Smith (Leanne) of Columbiana; Niece, Olivia Smith of Dothan; Nephew, David Smith (Courtney) of Huntsville; Niece, Natalie Twigg (Nathan) of Harrisonburg,VA and Niece, Leslie Smith of Columbiana.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Graveside services will follow at 11:30am at Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton with Rev. Doug Powell officiating.
