Linda Gail Lucas

Ms. LINDA GAIL LUCAS, age 67 of Thorsby, passed away on August 20, 2024 at her home in Thorsby, AL. She was born in Alabama on June 6, 1957 the daughter of the late John Lucas and the late Ruth Lucas. 

She was a long time cook and she also owned a thrift store in Thorsby. She loved people and her family. Linda was truly loved by her family and will be dearly missed. 

Ms. Linda is survived by her Daughter, Crystal Smith of Clanton, AL; Sons, Justin Lucas (Christy) of Clanton, AL, Eric Lindsey (Teresa) of Birmingham, AL, Jeremy Lindsey of Clanton, AL; Grandson, Bradley Smith; Sister, Ann Elliott of Verbena, AL; Brothers, Charles Lucas of Gardendale, AL, Jimmy Lucas of Woodstock, AL, Earl Lucas (Mary) of Hueytown, AL; and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her Special Friend, Kevin Edwards; Grandson, Micheal Smith; Brother, Lloyd Lucas; Sisters, Mary Lucas, Carolyn Dodd; and Parents, John and Ruth Lucas. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Providence No. 1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
