Linda Nell (Johnson) Parker

LINDA NELL (JOHNSON) PARKER, age 78 of Billingsley, passed away on October 29, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on May 26, 1946; the daughter of the late Irby Irvin Johnson and the late Lillian Pierce Johnson.

She was a longtime hairdresser. She loved and adored her family. She was a devoted Christian who had an amazing testimony and trust in God. Linda loved the piano and used her talents for many years serving as pianist at New Cedron Baptist Church.

She is survived by: Daughter, Shannon (Tommy) Corn of Clanton; Son, Jason (Jeff Miller) Parker of Athens; Daughter, Amanda (Keith) McMunn of Harvest; Grandchildren: Justin (Ashlee) Corn, Kristin (Mike) Devlin, Austin Hovis, Alexander Hovis, Jacob Hovis, and Bryant McMunn; 7 Great Grandchildren; and her twin Sister, Glenda (Gerald) Shaver of Billingsley.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Douglas Eugene Jacks; Husband, James Wayne Parker; and Parents, Irby and Lillian Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00pm in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley, AL with Bro. Kevin Marsh officiating.
