LINDA OPHELIA (EDWARDS) TRAMMELL, age 49 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on August 7, 1972; the daughter of Jackie Ray Edwards and Jean Jones Smith.
She was a former drug and alcohol counselor with the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department.
She is survived by: Husband, Matthew Puckett; Son, Brad (Bella) Trammell; Daughter, Tabatha (Kevin) McCrary; Daughter, Stephanie (Raymond Johnson) Trammell; 7 Grandchildren; Father, Ray (Shirley) Edwards; Mother, Jean Smith; Sister, Lisa (Mike) Fuller; Sister, Marie (Wesley) Hubbard; and Brother, Nicholas (Haley) Edwards.
She is preceded in death by: Granddaughter, Zoey Lorene Cleckler; Sister, Margaret Marie Edwards; Grandparents, Luther and Vivian Edwards; Grandfather, Daniel William Jones; and Grandmother, Lona Hand Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11:00am from The Church of God’s Word with Rev. Ray Edwards officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in The Church of God’s Word Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
