Lisa Nadine (Denney) Henderson

LISA NADINE (DENNEY) HENDERSON, age 58 of Prattville, passed away on August 5, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Long Beach, CA on October 6, 1964; the daughter of the late Eugene Denney and the late Nadine Hall Denney.

Lisa was an E-911 dispatcher with the Dallas County Sherriff’s Department. She had previously worked with Chilton County E-911. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends, even though she did not like to drive them. She was a member of Messenger of the Cross Motorcycle Ministry. Lisa attended church at Safe Harbor Outreach Center in Prattville where she enjoyed working in the church kitchen.

She is survived by: Son, Shannon Denney of Clanton; Grandchildren, Angel Denney and Katelin Denney; Special Aunt, Alice Price of Prattville; along with other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Eugene Denney; Mother, Nadine Denney; and Brother, David Denney.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Gordon officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Creek Baptist Cemetery in Marbury, AL.
