Louise (Griffin) Cleckley

HELEN LOUISE (GRIFFIN) CLECKLEY, age 82 of Jemison, passed away on March 23, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on December 22, 1942; the daughter of the late Woodrow Griffin and the late Hester Gore Griffin.

Louise was a former schoolteacher. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, J.T. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her outgoingness and kind heart.

She is survived by: Son, Ronald Cleckley of Jemison; Son, Jeffrey Cleckley of Jemison; Grandson, Cameron Cleckley of Clanton; Grandson, Colin Cleckley of Clanton; and Brother, Curtis Griffin of Jemison.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, J.T. Cleckley; Parents, Woodrow and Hester Griffin; Sister, Eloise Glazner; and Brother, Emmett Griffin.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00am in Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Chaplain Paul Foreman officiating.

There will be no visitation, everyone please meet at the cemetery for the service.
