Marsha Gwen (Wallace) Evans

MARSHA GWEN (WALLACE) EVANS, age 65 of Jemison, passed away on June 22, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Bibb County on April 7, 1959; the daughter of the late James Wallace and the late Dora Bell Mills Wallace.

She loved the outdoors where she enjoyed fishing and spending time in the sunshine. She also enjoyed music and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She will be best remembered for the loved that she had for her family.

She is survived by: Daughter, Cindy (JJ) Cobb of Randolph; Son, Brandon (Lesslie) Evans of Jemison; Daughter, Sabrina (Kim) Harris of Montevallo; Daughter, Rena (Ray) Tidwell of Talladega; Son, Ronny (Karen) Evans of Montevallo; 16 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; Brother, Jimmy Wallace of Montevallo; Brother, Russell Driver of Thorsby; Brother, Johnny (Linda) Wallace of Montevallo; Sister, Ella Mae Payton of Montevallo; Brother, Steve Wallace of Montevallo; Brother, Kenneth Pickett of Montevallo; and Brother, Larry Pickett of Montevallo.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Ronald Evans; Grandson, Skylar Evans; and Parents who raised her, William and Hazel Pickett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00am from Amazing Grace Worship Center with Rev. Charlie Lloyd and Rev. Kevin Blankenship officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
