MARSHALL RAY “BUTCH” STRAHAN, age 58 of Randolph, passed away on April 9, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Montgomery, AL on September 7, 1962; the son of the late Murphy Ray Strahan and the late Dorothy Jean Rawlinson Smith.
He was a good man and a hard worker, spending many days in the log woods to provide for his family. His family was his life and he always believed in taking care of others. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by: Wife, Wanda Strahan of Randolph; Daughter, Susan Jones of Lawley; Daughter, Amanda Strahan of Randolph; Grandchildren, Miranda Jones and Landon Lawley; Sister, Lynn Garner of Prattville; Sister, Cindy (Pete) Epperson of Brierfield; and Brother, Buster (Wendy) Smith of Deatsville.
He is preceded in death by: Daughter, Jennifer Strahan; Father, Murphy Strahan; and Mother, Jean Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Monday. April 12, 2021 at 3:00pm from the Randolph Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Randolph Baptist Cemetery in Randolph, AL.
