MARY ANNA LOGAN, age 85 of Stanton, passed away on June 26, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Washington, DC on December 15, 1935; the daughter of the late Moody Shaffer Lewis, Sr. and the late Marion Leisch Lewis.
She was a former restaurant cook. She did many things in life, but it is her cooking that she will be best remembered for.
She is survived by: Husband, Morris Logan Jr. of Stanton; Son, Chuck (Pam) Windham of Sumpter, SC; Son, William (Tammy) Irvin of Maplesville; Son, Michael (Leigh) Irvin of Childersburg; Son, John (Cecilia) Irvin of Alexander City; Step-Children: Robert Logan, Marbin Logan, and Rebecca Schroetlin; 7 Grandchildren; Sister, Merna Cease of Orlando, FL; and Brother, George Lewis of Montevallo.
She is preceded in death by: Son, Edward Irvin; Grandson, Lane Irvin; Parents, Moody and Marion Lewis; and Brother, Moody S. Lewis, Jr.
An inurnment service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 2:45pm in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
The family request no flowers, but request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
