Mary Nell (Carden) Partridge

MARY NELL (CARDEN) PARTRIDGE, age 81 of Calera, passed away on September 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Shelby County on February 16, 1942; the daughter of the late Ernest Carden and the late Hazel Connell Carden.

She was a former teacher’s aid with the Shelby County Board of Education.

She is survived by: Daughter, Kim Partridge (Tony) Mealer of Calera; Daughter, Carlene (Clay) Gaines of Calera; Granddaughter, Kayla (Jordan) Thomas of Billingsley; Grandson, Gray (Casey) Gaines of Helena; Grandson, Lewis Gaines of Bend, OR; Great Grandson, Declan Thomas of Billingsley; Sister, Mildred Stroud of Alabaster; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Donald Partridge.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00am from the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera with Rev. Jasper Carden officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
