Mary Lee (Fanning) Rodriguez

MARY LEE (FANNING) RODRIGUEZ, age 76 of Clanton, passed away on October 27, 2020 at St. Vincent-East Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Talapoosa County on July 22, 1944; the daughter of the late Albert Rufus Fanning and the late Evelyn Eugena Woodall Fanning.

She was a homemaker. She was loved by many and enjoyed spending time and being with her family.

She is survived by: Husband, Chon Rodriguez of Clanton; Daughter, Ramona Kent of Montgomery; Son, Wesley Kent of Montgomery; Son, Leslie Kent of Stanley, ND; Daughter, Priscilla Kent of Clanton; Daughter, Kathryn Boyd of Wetumpka; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Joseph Fanning of Valley; Brother, William Peacock of Valley; and Sister, Molly Smith of Lula, GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Sister, Martha VanHoutin; and Brother, Fred Fanning.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Jason Green officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL.
