Michael James Acreman

MICHAEL JAMES ACREMAN, age 53 of Verbena, passed away August 24, 2024 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Chilton County on September 8, 1970; son of the late James Lewis Acreman and Velma Sue Acreman.

Michael was a loving son, brother, nephew and doting uncle. He loved to be with his family and to travel, especially to West Virginia to visit relatives. Michael loved to ride 4-wheelers and Alabama football.

He is survived by his Mother, Velma Sue Acreman of Verbena; Brothers, Timothy Acreman (Tammy) of Thorsby, Keith Acreman (Maranda) of Verbena; Nieces, Kailey Savell of Thorsby, Ariana Acreman of Verbena; Nephew, Evan Acreman of Thorsby; Great-Niece, Ellie Savell of Thorsby; Aunts, Linda Clackler of Clanton; Joanne Leverette (Billy) of Greenville; Uncle, Terry Acreman (Sheila) of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by his Father, James Acreman; Aunt, Myrlene Howard; Grandparents, Carlton and Myrtle Clackler, Horace and Ersie Mae Acreman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Williams and Rev. Terry Hicks officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL.
