MICHAEL JOSEPH GROSS, age 77 of Clanton, passed away on April 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Lynn, MA on December 22, 1943; the son of the late William L. Gross and the late Lumina A. Savoie Gross.

He was a former tool and die maker.

He is survived by: Wife, Francine Gross of Clanton; Daughter, Michelle Gross of Clearwater, FL; Son, Michael Gross of Clearwater, FL; Daughter, Stephanie Lillico of Winfield, TN; Step-Daughter, Nancy (Doug) Hodge of Clanton; Grandsons, Alex and Austin Hodge of Clanton; Great-Grandsons, Hunter and Gavin Hodge of Clanton; Brother, William Gross of Littleton, MA; Sister, Virginia Chase of Kittery, ME; Sister, Mary Anne Seney of Manchester, NH; and Sister, Christine Bradley of Manchester, NH.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family has elected to hold an inurnment service at a later date in Massachusetts.
