Michael Casey Reeves

MICHAEL CASEY REEVES, age 37 of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Clanton, passed away on January 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Montgomery, AL on June 7, 1986; the son of the late Maxie David Reeves, Sr. and Jeanie Hayes Strattis.

He was a journeyman iron worker. Michael was a jack of all trades and could accomplish anything he set his mind to doing. He was a sociable person who had a kind and loving spirit.

He is survived by: Mother, Jeanie Strattis of Clanton; Sister, Misty (Chris) Sutton of Alabaster; Brother, Max Reeves of Clanton; Brother, David Rawlinson of Panama City Beach, FL; Nieces: Chelsie (Cody) Gilmore, Haley Sutton, and Hannah Sutton; Nephews, Seth Rawlinson and D.J. Rawlinson; Great Nephew, Skylar Gilmore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Maxie Reeves.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00am from Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Creek Cemetery in Marbury, AL.
