MILAN LAVON HOGG, age 78 of Clanton, passed away on December 28, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, GA on February 22, 1946; the son of the late Henry Rainey Hogg and the late Ruth Chapman Hogg.
He was a former machinist with US Pipe. He was a mechanic who loved working on old automobiles and attending car shows. He adored his pride and joy, Scooter, his beloved dog.
He is survived by: Wife, Linda Hogg of Clanton; Nephew, Joel (Jennifer) Brown of Thorsby; Sister-in-Law, Anita (Mike) Brown of Jemison; a host of other nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, James Dunn of Thorsby.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Rainey and Ruth Hogg; Sister, Vivian Paradise; Sister, Patsy English; and Brother, Kenneth Wayne Hogg.
In accordance with Milan’s wishes, no services will be held.
Interment was in the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
