Mildred Delene (Patterson) Bowman

MILDRED DELENE (PATTERSON) BOWMAN, age 89 of Verbena, passed away on April 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on July 28, 1933; the daughter of the late George Patterson and the late Ethel Griffin Patterson.

She was a former produce stand operator. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors where she loved cutting the grass, maintaining her yard, and keeping her flowers.

She is survived by: Daughter, Cindy Moore of Verbena; Daughter, Cheryl Wells of Verbena; Grandson, Dustin Wells of Verbena; Grandson, Garrett (Abby) Wells of Verbena; and Great Grandson, Justin Rip Wells of Verbena.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, James Bowman; Grandson, Justin Wells; Parents, George and Ethel Patterson; and Brother, Harold Patterson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Jason Green officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
