MYRTIS ANN (DAVIS) MCDONALD, age 72 of Jemison, passed away on August 31, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Hale County, AL on December 3, 1948; the daughter of the late Percy Davis and the late Maggie Wyatt Davis.
She was a homemaker who devoted to her family.
She is survived by: Daughter, Patsy Tucker of Jemison; Son, Thomas McDonald of Jemison; Daughter, Rebecca (James) Davis of Columbiana; Daughter, Marie (Eugene) Denham of Clanton; Daughter, Sonia Wilson of Columbiana; Daughter, Melissa (Ricky) Brasher of Jemison; 15 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Brothers: Daniel (Linda) Davis of Moundville, Kenny (Kathy) Davis of Jemison, Ronnie Davis of Jemison, Bill Davis of Maplesville, Jerry Davis of Gadsden, and Rayburn Davis of Birmingham; and Sisters: Linda Davis of Montevallo, Becky (Benny) Ellison of Jemison, Faye (Clarence) Sorrow of Centreville, Ruby (Billy) Loyd of Clanton, Francis (David) Scurlock of Montevallo, Bonnie Scurlock of Montevallo, and Mary Vance of Montevallo.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Emery McDonald; Daughter, Brenda Kay Denham; Daughter, Debbie Ray; Son, Stoney McDonald; Sister, Margaret Smith; and Brother, Carl David Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 4:00pm from the Archers Chapel Church in Jemison, AL with Rev. Kenny Davis and Rev. Kiley Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
