Norma Barrett Obituary
NORMA JEAN (WATTS) BARRETT, age 84 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on January 24, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County, AL on December 10, 1939; the daughter of the late John L. Watts and the late Willie Frank Northcutt Watts.
She loved all of her family unconditionally.
She is survived by: Daughter, Teresa (Barry) Barnett of Thorsby; Daughter, Kim (Chris) Dupree of Columbiana; Grandson, Jason (Amy) Barnett of Verbena; Grandson, Hunter Barnett of Tampa, FL; Granddaughter, April Yeargan of Columbiana; Granddaughter, Allie Yeargan of Columbiana; Great Granddaughter, Lilly Barnett of Daphne; Great Grandson, Brody (Kelsey) Barnett of Verbena; Great Grandson, Brooks Barnett of Verbena; Sister, Sandy Collins of Thorsby; Neice, Jennifer (Benjamin) Thompson of Birmingham; Great Nieces: Hannah and Haylee Henry; and Great-Great Nieces: Ella Ann Thompson and Adalyn Giles.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, John Douglas Barrett; Father, John L. Watts; Mother, Willie Frank Northcutt Watts; and Granddaughter, Brooke Yeargan.
There will be a graveside service Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL with Bro. Shawn Davenport officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Oak Grove Baptist Church in Jemison, AL.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Barnett, Brody Barnett, Brooks Barnett, Benjamin Thompson, Braxton Giles, and Christian Davenport.
