Pamela Grace (Maicki) Henderson

PAMELA GRACE (MAICKI) HENDERSON, age 85 of Randolph, passed away on March 25, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Detroit, MI on February 24, 1938; the daughter of the late Norbert Maicki and the late Alice Zulauf Maicki.

She retired from the Clanton Wal-Mart where she was a department manager. Living in a house with her husband and having all sons, she developed a love for sports and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Auburn football throughout her life. She also enjoyed spending time watching her hummingbirds in the spring and summer.

She is survived by: Son, Tim (Donna) Henderson of Thorsby; Son, Kip (Tammy) Henderson of Randolph; Grandchildren: Tyler Henderson of Nashville, TN, Krista (Austin) Herring of Holtville, Linsey (Wesley) Smitherman of Thorsby, and Lisa (Luke) Wright of Verbena; Great Grandchildren: Melanie Dru Smitherman of Thorsby, Abbi (Eric) Mitchell of Clanton, and Alex Wright of Verbena; Great-Great Grandchild, Adelyn Mitchell of Clanton; and Special Cousin, Gail Steen of MI.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, James H. Henderson; and Son, Tod Henderson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Lutheran Children’s Home.
