Pamela Ann (Edwards) Shackelford

PAMELA ANN (EDWARDS) SHACKELFORD, age 51, of Jemison, passed away on June 17, 2025, at UAB-St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Born in Clanton, Alabama on March 19, 1974, she was the cherished daughter of Gary “Snowball” Edwards and Patricia Ann Robinson Edwards. Pam was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whose heart centered around the people she loved most.

She was employed as a title clerk at Donahoo Automotive, where her dedication and reliability were well known. At home, Pam found great joy in caring for her family and keeping a warm, welcoming house. She had a special love for gardening and tending to her flowers—often found with her hands in the dirt and a smile on her face. Crafting was another passion, and she poured creativity and care into every project she touched.

Pam adored her grandchildren, and the time she spent with them brought her immeasurable happiness. She also shared a deep affection for her beloved fur babies, who were truly part of the family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dale Shackelford of Jemison; her sons, Dustin (Ariel) Shackelford of Thorsby and Hunter (Paityn) Shackelford of Jemison; and her treasured grandchildren, Delaney Shackelford, LJ Shackelford, and Hudson Shackelford. She also leaves behind her loving parents, Gary “Snowball” and Patricia Edwards of Jemison; her sister, Lisa (Cooter) Heflin of Clanton; her brother, Brandon Edwards of Jemison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herman and Myrtle Edwards, and her maternal grandparents, Dan and Delene Sullivan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Coburn officiating.

 Burial will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, Alabama.

Pam’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, through the beauty she brought into the world, and in the legacy of her unwavering devotion to her family.
