Peggy (Allen) Galloway

PEGGY ALLEN GALLOWAY, age 77 of Sylacauga, entered her Heavenly home on May 18, 2024. She was born on April 3, 1947; the daughter of the late Elmore Allen and the late Ruth Edwards Magouyrk.

Peggy lived her entire life in Sycamore and Sylacauga. She was a former employee of Avondale Mills and the Sylacauga Utilities Board. She was a faithful member of Sycamore Baptist Church where she will be missed by her many friends.

She is survived by: Granddaughter, Bailee Acker whom she loved dearly; Brother, William “Frankie” (Judy) Allen; Sister, Patti Magouyrk (Chuck) Patrick; 4 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Dale “Corky” Galloway; Daughter, Tara Galloway Acker; and Sister, Sunny Magouyrk Seagle.

An graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00am in the GreenHill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, AL with Rev. Trull Hill of Sycamore Baptist Church officiating.

Flowers will be accepted at the cemetery on the day of the service.
