PHILLIP LARKIN WILLIAMS, age 41 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on April 28, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Montgomery, AL on February 9, 1983; the son of L. Allen Williams and Teresa Tucker Williams.
Phillip proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp where he was a Lance Corporal and Scout Sniper. He served two tours of duty in Iraq and Ramadi. He was a proud veteran who loved helping other veterans in need. He fulfilled his calling to help fellow veterans through his service with the Auburn Department of Veterans Affairs.
He is survived by: Daughters, Lydia and Natalie Williams of Opp; Parents, Allen and Teresa Williams of Verbena; Brother, Todd (Suzanne) Williams of Clanton; Brother, Matthew Williams of Verbena; Grandmother, Nell Tucker of Verbena; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: Grandfather, R. M. “Bob” Tucker; and Grandparents, Mallard and Louise Langston.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until service time.
The family request no flowers, but prefer contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Phillip’s memory.
