Randall Golden McCary

RANDALL GOLDEN MCCARY, age 84 of Clanton, passed away on February 18, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Clanton, AL on December 25, 1940; the son of the late Alvin McCary and the late Lucille Carroll McCary.

He was a former machinist and welder. Randy enjoyed spending time on the river where he loved to fish. In his other spare time, he could be found in his workshop doing woodwork. He had incredible talent for making and building things.

He is survived by: Brother, Ralph (Jan) McCary of Hueytown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Son, Mark McCary; Son, Keith McCary; Parents, Alvin and Lucille Carroll McCary; Sister, Faye Howell; and Brother, Jerry McCary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 3:30pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
