George Randall Miller, age 76, of the Union Grove Community in Jemison, Alabama, passed away suddenly at his residence on May 31, 2026.
Randall was born in Chilton County on February 23, 1950, to the late Tommy Miller and the late Opal Wilson Miller. He worked for many years as a stone mason and took great pride in his work. Randall enjoyed spending time on his tractor, planting and tending to things around his property. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed the western lifestyle, and loved guns.
Perhaps most of all, Randall will be remembered for his willingness to help others. If he believed he could lend a hand to someone in need, he was always there. His generosity, kindness, and commitment to his community left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Parker Miller of Jemison; daughter, Lindsay Miller of Jemison; son, Clint Miller of Jemison; brothers, Greg (Janet) Miller of Jemison and Gary (Brenda) Miller of Jemison; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Miller.
The family will hold a gathering of friends on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in The Community Room of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, Alabama.
The family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. Those wishing to honor Randall's memory may make a memorial contribution to the Chilton County Relay For Life benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, Alabama.
