Randy Eugene Tillery

RANDY EUGENE TILLERY, age 68 of Jemison, passed away on February 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Jefferson County on October 28, 1952; the son of the late John H. Tillery and the late Bessie Mae Posey Tillery.

Randy will be best remembered as a people person who loved his fried chicken, Coca Cola, fishing, and playing the piano at gospel singings.

He is survived by: Brother, Ronnie (Donna) Tillery of Jemison; Nephews: Jeffrey (Brook) Tillery of Jemison, Chad (Kerri) Tillery of Jemison, and Michael (Lisa) Tillery of Jemison; Great-Nephews: Logan (Ariel) Tillery of Jemison, Colin Tillery of Jemison, Braden Tillery of Jemison, and Ethan Tillery of Jemison; Great-Nieces, Laurin Tillery of Jemison and Karley Tillery of Jemison; and Great-Great Nephews, Braxton Tillery of Jemison and Benson Tillery of Jemison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Tillery.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. John Pullen and Rev. Travis Burnette officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in Posey Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

The family respectfully request, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, that facial coverings and social distancing protocols be observed during the services.
