Raybon Patterson

RAYBON PATTERSON, age 73 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2024 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Chilton County on November 16, 1950; the son of the late Elzie Floyd Patterson and the late Ruby Pearl Varden Patterson.

He was a former brick mason. He had a very giving personality and a tender heart. He loved to attend various markets and trade days. He was a collector of various items.

He is survived by: Sister, Geraldine Patterson Thomas of Gardendale; Sister, Sheila Patterson Langston of Jemison; Niece, Kristy Spann of Mt. Olive; Niece, Misty Traffica of Gardendale; and Nephew, Kennon Patterson of Rockford.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Elzie Floyd Patterson; Mother, Ruby Pearl Varden Patterson; Sister, Doris Patterson; Brother, Donald Patterson; and Brother, Gordon Patterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00pm in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, AL with Rev. Randol Mims officiating.
