Ricky William Easterling

RICKY WILLIAM EASTERLING, age 49 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on November 7, 2025 in Verbena, AL. He was born in Chilton County on April 4, 1976; the son of the late Richard Easterling and Linda Kay Burks Wells.

Ricky was a skilled carpenter who not only worked in construction, but truly loved the trade. He took pride in using his hands and seeing projects come to life. He found joy in the outdoors where he loved camping, fishing, and simply being surrounded by nature. Ricky will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, his hardworking nature, and the love he showed his family.

He is survived by: Daughter, Brittany Dennis of Verbena; Daughter, Ashley Easterling of Clanton; Son, Brett Easterling of Calera; Grandchildren: Brylee Dennis, Keaton Hutchinson, Kayson Hutchinson, and Drex Dennis; Mother, Linda Wells of Verbena; and Brothers, Timmy Wells and Robby Easterling both of Verbena.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 5-7pm in the Community Room at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.
