Ricky Charles Vance

RICKY CHARLES VANCE, age 59 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2021 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Shelby County on June 3, 1961; the son of the late Luther Earl Vance and the late Cheryl Elizabeth Massey Vance.

He was a repossession agent. He will be remembered as a good friend who was always there when he was needed.

He is survived by: Wife, Mary Lou Vance of Thorsby; Son, Ricky Earl (Adrianne) Vance of Brewton; Son, Matthew Dewayne Price of Montevallo; Daughter, Sherry Vance of Clanton; Daughter, Leighann (Bryant) Ray of Clanton; Daughter, Jamie Rena Sasser of Clanton; and 10 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Luther and Cheryl Vance; Brother, Danny Earl Vance; and Sister, Sherry Annette Vance.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 3:00pm from Archers Chapel Church with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Archers Chapel Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
