Robert Lee Schultz

ROBERT LEE SCHULTZ, age 90 of Clanton, passed away on December 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Walker County, AL on May 1, 1933; the son of the late August B. Schultz and the late Betty Kirby.

He was a former law enforcement officer. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during both the Korean and Vietnam Eras. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He loved his family and he was loved by many. He held a deep desire to spread the word of Jesus to those he came in contact with.

He is survived by: Wife, Lois Schultz of Clanton; Daughter, Sandra McCleskey of Red Bay; Daughter, Barbara Fenters of Lake City, NC; 6 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 11:00am in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

There will be no visitation.

The family request no flowers, please make memorial contributions to either the Shriner’s Hospital for Children or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
