Robert Michael Scruggs

ROBERT MICHAEL SCRUGGS, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away on April 21, 2025, at UAB-St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton. He was 64 years old.

Born on October 18, 1960, in Birmingham, Alabama, Robert was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy and peace in nature. He especially loved to hunt and fish, and he treasured the time spent doing so with his beloved son, Timmy.

Robert dedicated over 20 years of his career to Reeves Construction Company, where he was a valued and hardworking member of the team.

He will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, his strong work ethic, his generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Alice Scruggs of Clanton; his son, Timmy Scruggs of Clanton; his daughters, Jill Lollar of Carthage, Tennessee, and Joy Connell of Prattville, Alabama; and five cherished grandchildren.
