ROBERT LEE “BOB” WRIGHT, age 64 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on June 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Kansas City, KS on January 16, 1956; the son of the late Georgia Ellen Neudorff Wright.
He was a mechanic who loved working on automobiles. He was a faithful Kansas City Chiefs fan, and a devout Alabama Fan. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially the late Dale Earnhardt.
He is survived by: Wife, Gloria Wright of Jemison; Son, Lee (Candace) Lowery of Calera; Daughter, Brittany (JD) Nelson of Calera; Son, Joey Lowery of Jemison; Daughter, Cheyenne Martin of Montevallo; Daughter, Katie Ingram of Jemison; Daughter, Sheree (Kevin) Blackwell of Kansas City, KS; 12 Grandchildren; Brothers: Jack L. (Janet) Wright, Steven W. Wright, and Charles W. (Mary) Wright all of Kansas City, KS; Sister, Teresa L. Hughes of Calera; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Ellen Wright.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Lee Lowery officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Hope Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
