Roger Headley Obituary
ROGER LADON HEADLEY, beloved husband, father, and brother, every ready to help anyone in need. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Sheila Nelson Headley; his children Connie Derryberry (husband Kevin), Levy Headley, Matthew Headley, Jo Ann Schatz (husband Michael), Adam Headley, and Alexus Headley; his grandchildren Cassy Dailey (husband Scott), Marky Bingham Salow (husband Jacob), Cameron Derryberry, Rory Schatz, Brendan Schatz, Ariana Brown, and Amayah Brown; great grandchildren John Mark Dailey, and Asher Dailey; his brother Steve Headley (wife Sherry) and his sisters Teresa Shavers (husband Danny), Tammy Nelson (husband Ron), Stacy Langston (husband James), and Annette Feister.
Those that have gone before him include his mother, Dorothy Culp Headley; his father Virgil Worthy Headley; his brothers Terry, Lake, Danny, Lloyd, and Gerald Headley; his sister Joan Lockhart; and his daughter Laura Headley.
A small memorial service will take place Thursday October 5, 2023 at 10:00 am at New Harmony Holiness Church in Clanton, AL.
Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, if you feel called to give to the world as Roger did, please make a donation to the Chilton County Humane Society in honor of his love for animals and his drive to care for them, or New Harmony Holiness Church or Kevin Derryberry Ministries as his trusted stewards of the grace of goodness of God, who he loved well.
