Roger Dale Pate

ROGER DALE PATE, age 58 of Randolph, passed away on September 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on January 31, 1966; the son of the late FC Pate and the late Pauline Lucas Pate.

Dale enjoyed is job of building bridges. He previously worked as a superintendent with Alabama Bridge. Away from work, he had a love and enjoyment for the outdoors. He also loved taking road trips with his wife and family. He loved most of all spending time with his precious grandbabies. He was a devoted husband and a loving father. He will be best remembered as a family man.

He is survived by: Wife, Christy Pate; Daughter, Ashley (Jay) Satcher; Daughter, Janna (Justin) Miller; Daughter, Carley (Griffin) Street; 8 Grandchildren; Brothers: Lynn (Diane) Pate, Steve (Laura) Pate, Donnie (Jill) Pate, Jeff (Anita) Pate, Keith (Sheila) Pate, and Chris Pate; and Sister, Tisha Pate.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, FC and Pauline Pate; and Brothers, Kenny Pate and Curtis Pate.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 6-8pm at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Jemison, AL.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11:00am from Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Evie Megginson and Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

The family request in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
